Nokia signs 5G network deal with Vodafone New Zealand

Telecom equipment maker Nokia today announced the signing of its 5G network deal with Vodafone New Zealand.

Finland-based Nokia will be supplying Nokia AirScale radio access solution, cloud-native core and design services to Vodafone New Zealand.

Vodafone New Zealand will launch 5G services in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown in late 2019, said Tony Baird, technology director of Vodafone New Zealand in a statement.
