Billtrust releases OBP software for Smartphone billing functionality

Billtrust announced the release of OBP Mobile Edition,
its newest Online Billing & Payment (OBP) software.

OBP Mobile gives businesses the ability to deliver their bills via smartphones
and other mobile devices, allowing consumers to receive and pay bills
on-the-go.

With OBP Mobile, consumers have full accessibility to
their accounts on their mobile devices including the ability to view bills,
enroll accounts, make payments, check payment history, and setup auto-payment
rules.

This latest software release allows Billtrust customers to offer environmentally-friendly billing options that increase
customer convenience and ultimately business value.

“Consumers want convenience in every aspect of their
lives and we are helping our customers deliver that in the billing process.
Enabling mobile billing capabilities makes it easier for consumers to view and
pay their bills, resulting in faster payments and lower costs for our
customers-all while promoting eco-friendly electronic billing. This isn’t
technology for technology sake, its technology to drive business value. This is
another example of what we call Billing Wellness,” said Flint Lane, CEO,
Billtrust.

“We are always looking to offer services to our
customers that make it easier for them to do business with us. We are delighted
that our customers can now use their mobile devices to support the billing
process,” said Regina Farmer, director of customer relations, Los Angeles
Newspaper Group.

Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) is the
fastest growing channel of bill delivery/payment in the Business-to-Consumer
(B2C) market. It is a critical component of Billtrust’s efforts to help its
customers achieve greater business value.

Through this and other business-focused billing
innovations, Billtrust helps companies decrease costs and increase efficiency,
while achieving a healthier state of billing – known as Billing Wellness. To
help raise awareness of this strategic approach to billing, Billtrust recently
launched, a website designed to
provide tips and tools for finance executives.
