Aviat Networks to slash jobs to save $5 mn in 2015

Microwave networking solutions vendor Aviat Networks will slash jobs to save $5 million in fiscal year 2015 with an incremental cost savings of $12 million in 2016.

The restructuring initiative in order to optimize its business model is line with the dynamics of the microwave radio and telecommunications markets. Aviat Networks aims to become profitable as per the restructuring program.

Aviat Networks will slash the workforce through the consolidation of functions and simplification of operational processes. It will focus on market verticals and geographies to ensure profitable growth.
