Redmi’s 5G smartphone is priced at INR 13,999 in India

Redmi India, a sub brand of Mi India, has unveiled its first 5G smartphone in India – Redmi Note 10T 5G.

Redmi Note 10T 5G is powered by a Dimensity 700 chipset from MediaTek. The 5G smartphone features an immersive 90Hz 6.5” AdaptiveSync DotDisplay coupled with a capable 48MP camera setup.

Redmi Note 10T 5G will be available across Mi.com, Amazon.in, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores starting 12:00 noon starting 26 July 2021. It will be available across all 10,000+ retail stores.

The introductory price is INR 13,999 for the 6GB+64GB variant and INR 15,999 for 6GB+128GB. In addition, HDFC credit-card members can avail discounts up to INR 1000.

Sneha Tainwala, Business Head, Redmi India, said: “With the launch of Redmi Note 10T 5G, we are bringing the first 5G Smartphone from the house of Redmi.”

MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset built on a 7nm architecture is equipped with an Octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.2GHz to provide a consistent and superior performance. The GPU Mali G57 delivers high-end performance with 30 percent more energy efficiency and performance density, and 60 percent machine learning improvements.

Redmi Note 10T 5G features a 6.5” DotDisplay, with 90Hz Adaptive sync to further enhance the visual experience.

Redmi Note 10T 5G comes in four colors – Metallic Blue, Mint Green, Chromium White, and Graphite Black. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and Corning Gorilla Glass which further adds resistance and protects the device from accidental drops and scratches.

Redmi Note 10T 5G sports a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor which allow capturing shots with ease.

Redmi Note 10T 5G’s 5000 mAh battery provides enough power to carry out any task throughout the day with ease. The device comes with a 22.5W fast charger out of the box and supports 18W of fast charging.
