OPPO India names Sumit Walia as VP, Product & Marketing

OPPO India, a smartphone brand from China, announced the appointment of Sumit Walia as vice president, Product & Marketing.
Sumit Walia will be spearheading the localization efforts in Product & Marketing at OPPO India. He will be leading the India market and will be focusing on growing the OPPO brand in the competitive mobile handset space in India.

Charles Wong, CEO of OPPO India, said Sumit Walia will be working alongside its local R&D centre in Hyderabad to introduce cutting-edge technology and experiences customized for Indian consumers.

Sumit Walia earlier worked with multiple brands such as Samsung, Huawei, LG Electronics and Videocon.
