London-based consumer technology brand Nothing has introduced the new Nothing Phone (4a) Series in India, unveiling two models – Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro.
The latest smartphones aim to strengthen Nothing’s presence in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment by combining the company’s signature transparent design with improved camera capabilities, faster processors, and an upgraded software experience powered by Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16.
The lineup introduces enhanced display technology, refined Glyph lighting interfaces, and large 5400 mAh batteries supported by 50W fast charging. With AI-powered features, improved personalization tools, and high refresh-rate AMOLED displays, the Phone (4a) series focuses on delivering a smoother and smarter everyday smartphone experience.
Nothing Phone (4a) Features
The Nothing Phone (4a) is designed to deliver strong performance and camera capabilities within the mid-range category. The device features a triple camera system led by a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens capable of up to 70x Ultra Zoom. The camera system also includes a Sony ultra-wide sensor and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Nothing has integrated its TrueLens Engine 4 computational photography technology, enabling Ultra XDR imaging and AI-powered enhancements for clearer photos across different lighting conditions. The system is designed to capture detailed landscape shots, portraits, and distant subjects with improved clarity.
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals for gaming, video streaming, and everyday use. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i for enhanced durability.
Phone (4a) is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which supports fast multitasking, improved gaming performance, and efficient power management.
A redesigned Glyph Bar lighting interface adds a distinctive visual element while providing practical features such as notification alerts and acting as a fill light for photos and videos. The phone maintains Nothing’s transparent design and is available in Blue, Pink, Black, and White color options, with IP64 protection against dust and splashes.
Nothing Phone (4a) Pro Specifications
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro brings additional upgrades aimed at users seeking more advanced hardware. It features a flagship-grade camera setup with a Sony LYT700C 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens with OIS, capable of up to 140x Ultra Zoom.
With the support of TrueLens Engine 4 and Ultra XDR imaging, the device offers enhanced zoom performance, better low-light photography, and the ability to record cinematic 4K videos.
Phone (4a) Pro comes with a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling and gameplay. The display also offers up to 5000 nits peak brightness and the slimmest bezels seen on a Nothing smartphone so far, improving the immersive viewing experience.
Phone (4a) Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, designed to deliver faster processing speeds and improved AI performance for demanding applications and mobile gaming.
In terms of design, the smartphone features a precision metal unibody construction with IP65 durability. The upgraded Glyph Matrix system includes 137 mini-LEDs that deliver sharper lighting effects and more expressive visual notifications.
