Motorola Mobility will announce the launch of Moto G smartphone on Wednesday, 5 February, in India.
Flipkart, its e-commerce partner, announced a press meet in Delhi.
The press meet will be attended by three senior executives from Motorola Mobility including Magnus Ahlqvist, corporate VP of EMEA Asia Pacific; Marcus Frost, senior marketing director, EMEA, and Punit Soni, VP, Software Product Management.
In addition, Sachin Bansal, co-founder and CEO of Flipkart and Binny Bansal, co-founder and COO of Flipkart will also be there.
Recently, Lenovo announced that it will acquire Motorola Mobility for $2.9 billion.
The low cost Moto G smartphone, which is targeted at emerging telecom markets, was launched globally in November 2013. The price was $179 for 8GB model in the U.S. mobile market. Main specification of Moto G includes 4.5-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with quad-core CPU, and Android 4.3 Jellybean OS, etc.
