Lava adds entry level 3G Android smartphones

Lava International on Wednesday launched its entry level 3G Android smartphones.

The price of Lava 3G 356 is Rs 4,499.

Lava 3G 402 will be priced at Rs 5,499.

Both smartphones are targeted at the youth segment in India.

Lava aims to help the existing 2G users to upgrade to 3G technology and benefit mobile Internet.

“The Lava 3G 356 and 3G 402 are uniquely designed smartphones which lets a consumer enjoy the power of 3G by consuming online content,” said Hari Om Rai, co-founder & Director, Lava International.

The budget 3G phone runs on dual core processor.

The 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen comes with Android 4.2 (jelly bean) operating system with OTA upgrade.

Lava 3G 356 smartphone features 1.3MP camera.

1500 mAh Li-Ion battery will offer upto 5 hours of talktime and 200 hours of stand-by time.

The cost effective 3G phone runs on Android (jelly bean) 4.2 and powered by a dual core 1.2 GHz processor.

The 4-inch smartphone features 5MP camera.

1500mAh battery will be a value addition.

Both the 3G phones come with 512 MB ROM + 256 MB RAM, which can be expanded upto 32GB through external memory card.
