iQOO Z11 Lite 5G Launches in India at INR 17,999 with AI Features, 6500mAh Battery to Challenge Samsung, realme and Redmi

iQOO has expanded its affordable 5G smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the iQOO Z11 Lite 5G, targeting students and young professionals with AI-powered productivity tools, a large battery, durable design, and competitive pricing.

Starting at an effective price of INR 17,999, the 5G smartphone aims to strengthen iQOO’s position in India’s fast-growing mid-range 5G market, where Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola, realme, Nothing (CMF), OPPO, and vivo continue to intensify competition.

The latest Omdia report indicated that India’s smartphone shipments declined 13 percent to 33.9 million units in the second quarter of 2026, as rising memory costs led to repeated handset price increases and weakened affordability for mass-market consumers.

Elevated memory prices are expected to keep smartphone prices high for the rest of 2026, with price normalization unlikely before the first half of 2027. Omdia forecasts a double-digit decline in India’s smartphone market in 2026, citing persistent macroeconomic pressures and higher device prices that continue to suppress consumer demand.

The iQOO Z11 Lite 5G will go on sale from July 30 through the iQOO e-store, Amazon.in, vivo exclusive stores, and select retail outlets. Customers can avail a flat INR 1,500 instant discount on select SBI and Axis Bank credit cards along with up to three months of no-cost EMI.

The smartphone is priced at INR 19,499 (effective INR 17,999) for the 4 GB + 128 GB variant, INR 21,499 (effective INR 19,999) for the 6 GB + 128 GB model, and INR 24,499 (effective INR 22,999) for the 6 GB + 256 GB version. Buyers can choose between Midnight Blue and Solar Flame colour options.

AI productivity features and display

The iQOO Z11 Lite 5G features a 6.74-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits peak brightness, making it one of the brightest displays in its segment. The panel also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification to reduce eye strain during extended usage and supports 200 percent volume mode for improved audio clarity.

Running on OriginOS 6, the smartphone introduces several AI-powered productivity features. AI Creation helps with writing, grammar correction, translation, summarisation and content expansion, while AI Captions enables real-time transcription and translation. AI Transcript Assist converts voice recordings into text with summaries and highlights, and AI Screen Translation instantly translates on-screen content, making the device suitable for note-taking, online learning and multilingual communication.

MediaTek Dimensity 6300 powers performance

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, delivering 5G connectivity and smooth performance for daily multitasking, entertainment and casual gaming. It offers up to 6 GB RAM, 256 GB internal storage, and supports Extended RAM up to 6 GB for improved multitasking.

Connectivity is enhanced through AI SuperLink, which improves network performance in weak-signal areas such as classrooms, metro stations and elevators. Gamers also benefit from Ultra Game Mode, offering overlay notifications and skill timers.

For photography, the device features a 50 MP Sony primary camera supported by Super Night Mode, Portrait Mode, AI Photo Enhance, AI UHD, and Ultra HD Document, allowing users to capture photos, documents and classroom notes with greater clarity.

6500mAh battery and durable design

Battery life is one of the biggest differentiators of the iQOO Z11 Lite. The smartphone packs a 6500mAh BlueVolt battery, among the largest available in its price category, paired with 44W FlashCharge that charges the battery from 1 percent to 50 percent in around 38 minutes.

Additional battery features include 5-Year Battery Health, Battery Life Extender, and reverse charging support.

The smartphone is built for durability with Swiss SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance, Military-Grade durability, IP65 dust and water resistance, and an AirSpring technology drop-resistant protective case. Manufactured at vivo’s Greater Noida facility under the company’s Make in India initiative, the device is backed by more than 700 company-owned service centres across India.

Competition in India’s affordable AI smartphone segment

The iQOO Z11 Lite enters one of India’s most competitive smartphone categories. At an effective starting price of INR 17,999, it competes directly with the realme Narzo 90 5G (around INR 16,499), CMF Phone 2 Pro (around INR 18,999), Moto G96 5G (around INR 21,099), and Redmi Note 15 5G (around INR 22,999).

Its strongest advantage is the 6500mAh battery, significantly larger than the 5000mAh battery offered by the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the 5500mAh batteries found in rivals such as the Redmi Note 15 5G and Moto G96 5G. Combined with 44W FlashCharge, the large battery delivers extended usage without sacrificing charging speed. The 1200-nit display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 50 MP Sony camera, IP65 protection, and military-grade durability further enhance its value proposition.

AI has also become a key battleground in the smartphone market. Samsung is expanding Galaxy AI, Google is integrating Gemini AI into Android devices, Motorola is promoting Moto AI, Xiaomi is rolling out HyperAI, and Nothing is introducing Essential AI. Instead of focusing primarily on AI photography, iQOO differentiates the Z11 Lite through productivity-focused tools such as AI Creation, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, and AI Screen Translation, making the device particularly attractive for students, content creators, and young professionals.

With its combination of AI productivity features, one of the largest batteries in its class, durable hardware, and aggressive pricing, the iQOO Z11 Lite 5G strengthens iQOO’s competitiveness in India’s affordable 5G smartphone market while responding to the growing demand for AI-enabled mobile experiences.
