Main rivals of iQOO Z11 5G

The OnePlus Nord 5 is one of the strongest performance rivals, with pricing starting at ₹33,999. It uses the more performance-focused Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Its 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display supports up to 144Hz and 1,800 nits peak brightness. The Nord 5 packs a 6,800mAh battery with faster 80W charging, versus 7,050mAh and 44W on the Z11. It also features 50 MP front and rear cameras, supports 4K 60fps video, and promises 4 Android upgrades and 6 years of security updates.

Vivo T4 Pro

The Vivo T4 Pro is particularly attractive for users prioritising photography. It features the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, 6,500mAh battery and considerably faster 90W FlashCharge. Its biggest advantage is its camera system: a 50 MP OIS main camera plus 50 MP OIS 3x periscope telephoto camera, accompanied by a 32 MP selfie camera. Vivo also provides IP68 and IP69 protection, 4 Android OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. The 8 GB + 256 GB model is listed at ₹29,999, making it a formidable value rival to the Z11.

Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G

The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is another direct alternative in this price band, with current retail listings around ₹34,999. It competes for buyers looking for a feature-rich premium mid-range phone rather than a device primarily positioned around gaming and student-focused AI productivity.

Realme P4 Pro 5G

Realme P4 Pro 5G Smartphone

The Realme P4 Pro 5G, available in current listings around ₹32,999, competes directly for performance-conscious buyers in the ₹30,000-₹35,000 segment. Its positioning makes it an alternative for users looking for a large-display, performance and battery-oriented smartphone without moving into flagship pricing.

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G sits slightly above the iQOO Z11’s starting price, with current listings around ₹37,499. It therefore represents another important competitor for consumers willing to stretch their ₹35,000 budget for a higher-end configuration.

Among these rivals, the OnePlus Nord 5 stands out for processing power and 80W charging, while the Vivo T4 Pro has a major photography advantage with its 50 MP 3x periscope camera and 90W charging. The iQOO Z11 counters with the largest 7,050mAh battery, 2,000-nit HBM display, 144Hz refresh rate, 3,800 mm² vapor chamber and student-focused Gemini/Azure AI features.

Features of iQOO Z11 5G

iQOO Z11 5G smartphone comes in Celestial Blue and Aurora Green colour options.

6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED Display With 144Hz Refresh Rate

One of the major highlights of the iQOO Z11 5G is its 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display, offering a 144Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM).

iQOO positions it as the brightest display in its segment. The screen also includes flagship-grade eye-comfort technologies aimed at reducing eye strain during activities such as online classes, reading, research, gaming and video streaming.

Despite its large display and battery, the iQOO Z11 measures only 7.99 mm thick and weighs 199 grams. Its horizontal camera module uses what iQOO calls a Skyline Design, intended to provide better stability when the phone is placed on a desk.

India’s First Smartphone With MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo

Performance is another major focus of the iQOO Z11. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo, making it the first smartphone in India to feature the chipset.

Manufactured using a 4nm process, the Dimensity 7500 Turbo delivers an AnTuTu benchmark score of more than 1.2 million, according to iQOO. The chipset is combined with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Z11 also becomes the first smartphone in iQOO’s Z series to feature a 3,800 mm² Vapor Chamber Cooling System.

The new cooling solution provides nearly 6 times higher thermal conductivity and a 2.5 times larger cooling area compared with the graphite plate used in the previous generation. The enhanced thermal system is designed to sustain performance during gaming, multitasking and other demanding workloads.

7,050mAh Battery With 44W FlashCharge

The iQOO Z11 5G packs a substantial 7,050mAh battery, giving the smartphone additional endurance for classes, studying, social media, entertainment and gaming.

The battery supports 44W FlashCharge, taking the phone from 1 percent to 100 percent in approximately 66 minutes.

iQOO has also included 5-Year Battery Health technology designed to preserve battery performance over a longer ownership cycle. Reverse charging is supported, allowing the Z11 to supply power to compatible devices.

AI Captions Uses Google Gemini and Microsoft Azure

Beyond hardware performance, iQOO is positioning AI as an important part of the Z11’s appeal to students.

AI Captions uses a multi-engine AI framework combining Google Gemini and Microsoft Azure to provide transcription and translation. Multimodal AI processing is designed to recognise elements including pauses, rhythm, emphasis and pronunciation, potentially making the feature useful for recording and revisiting lectures, workshops and discussions.

The AI Creation feature is designed for summarising long documents, refining assignments, brainstorming ideas, writing and creating social content. Skill-based AI routing assigns different Gemini variants according to the type of task being performed.

A real-time streaming AI architecture progressively generates responses, captions and translations, while stateful conversation memory enables users to refine AI-generated material through follow-up prompts.

The phone also supports Circle to Search 2.0, adding another AI-assisted option for researching information directly from content displayed on the screen.

50 MP Sony IMX882 Camera With OIS

For photography, the iQOO Z11 5G features a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilisation, accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

On the front is a 32 MP selfie camera. Both the front and rear camera systems support 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.

Camera software features include Night Mode, Portrait Mode and AI Erase 2.0, giving users additional tools for low-light photography, portraits and AI-assisted photo editing.

3 Android Upgrades and 5 Years of Security Updates

iQOO is extending the Z11’s usable life through a software commitment covering 3 generations of Android upgrades and 5 years of security patches.

The smartphone also comes with a 60-Month Smooth Experience claim based on hardware and software optimisation designed to maintain responsiveness over five years.

Durability is strengthened through IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance. The Z11 has also undergone military-grade testing covering multiple drops and impacts, according to iQOO.

iQOO Buds Offer Up to 50 Hours of Playback

Alongside the Z11 5G, iQOO has introduced the iQOO Buds, priced at ₹1,899 with a net effective price of ₹1,699. Sales of the earbuds will begin on August 24, 2026, on Amazon.in.

The iQOO Buds offer up to 50 hours of maximum playback time when used with the charging case.

Other features include AI Call Noise Cancelling and Bluetooth 6.1 Dual-Device Connection, allowing the earbuds to maintain connections with two devices and switch between activities such as calls, music, gaming and video.

The earbuds also support Double-Tap Remote Camera Control when connected to a compatible vivo or iQOO smartphone. An IP54 rating provides additional protection against dust and water exposure.

With the Z11 5G, iQOO is combining a 6.83-inch 144Hz display, 4nm Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, 3,800 mm² vapor chamber, 7,050mAh battery, 44W charging, 50 MP Sony camera and AI productivity features in a device starting at an effective price of ₹31,499, strengthening its push into India’s performance-focused mid-premium smartphone market.
