Idea Cellular on Thursday said Aurus 4, its dual-SIM smartphone priced at priced at Rs 8,999, will be available in its 3G markets.
These 3G markets include Gujarat, Maharashtra & Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Kerala, UP West & East, Haryana, J&K and HP.
India’s 3rd largest mobile operator said Idea Aurus 4 with 4.5-inch TFT display features 5MP primary camera along with video calling facility, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, Android Jelly Bean 4.2, 1800 Mah battery, etc.
Sashi Shankar, chief marketing officer, Idea Cellular, said Idea Aurus 4 is the latest addition to its growing portfolio of 3G devices which is enabling a large base of Idea users experience 3G for the first time in India.
Earlier, Idea Cellular launched ULTRA, the company’s first smartphone in the 5-inch category.
Idea Cellular claims that it has previously sold over 6 lakh devices from a dozen models in the 3.5-inch, 4-inch and 4.5-inch categories in India.
