Huawei launches new data card, offers more freedom to broadband consumers


Huawei Devices has launched its data cards E303C
dongle and E560 MiFi in Indian market.

The E303C Dongle enables consumers to select
their favorite operator as per the best data plan available in the market.

In the semi urban telecom markets in India,
customers can utilize the same SIM card used in a handset, to connect and
access data. The E560 Mifi offers the customer WiFi for your home” facility,
where the users and the family can access internet facilities through one Mifi
plugged in.

In our research, we found that mobile
professionals wanted to access faster internet speed in multiple cities at the
most affordable rates. As 3G coverage is increasing in India, consumers can now
have the freedom to choose the best 3G coverage available from any operator
wherever they travel,” said

users can now get onto internet by looking for the best internet plans every
month. We believe, that by launching these unlocked dongles, Huawei is leading
the path to democratize mobile broadband access and helping achieve 100 million
users by 2014 in India,” Narang added.

Huawei leads the global dongle market
world-wide and in India with 55 percent market-share. Huawei has been working
with multiple operators in India and has partnered with operators to offer
several firsts like Edge, 3G, HSPA, EVDO dongles.

To get the next wave of Indian consumers on
to internet, we believe that 3.5G open dongles will offer consumers the freedom
of the best prices for data plans,” said P Sanjeev, sales director, Huawei
Devices.

With these dongles, the customers have the
freedom to choose any 3G/2G operator for accessing internet. Both the devices
will offer 3.5G speeds HSUPA 7.2 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload. Huawei E560
MiFi will allow the user to create a hostpot and connect 5 devices to internet
and carry it wherever they go.

Huawei is the leading provider of mobile data
cards, set top boxes and CDMA handsets in the Indian market serves 45 out of
the world’s top 50 telecom operators and revenues exceeding $28 billion.
