HTC appoints Jason Mackenzie as president global sales and marketing

 

HTC Corporation, a global designer of mobile phones and
devices, today announced the promotion of Jason Mackenzie to the newly-created
position of president for global sales and marketing, effective immediately.

 

In his new role, Mackenzie will report to Peter Chou and
will be responsible for ensuring that HTC’s sales strategies and go-to-market
execution are aligned as HTC expands its global reach.

 

Under Jason’s leadership, HTC has become one of the
leading smartphone brands in the Americas. His attention to detail, focus on
customer service and commitment to driving HTC’s innovations across the region
have been a testament to his sales and marketing management capabilities,” said
Peter Chou, chief executive officer of HTC Corporation.

 

Mackenzie joined HTC in 2005 and has
led HTC North America
and Latin America since 2007. He will continue in his role as president
of North America and Latin America until a replacement is announced.

that capture the imagination of our customers around the world,” said
Mackenzie.

 

Prior to HTC, Mackenzie held a progression of sales and
marketing positions with DENSO Wireless and Siemens Communications, concluding
as Vice President for Siemens Communications. Mackenzie earned a bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University in San
Diego.
