Apple Q1 Fiscal 2026 Revenue Jumps 16% to $143.8 bn as iPhone, Services Drive Growth

iPhone maker Apple posted quarterly revenue of $143.8 billion, up 16 percent, for its fiscal 2026 first quarter ended December 27, 2025.

The Americas remained the largest market with sales of $58,529 million, followed by Europe at $38,146 million. Greater China delivered the fastest growth, with revenue climbing to $25,526 million from $18,513 million. Japan and the rest of Asia Pacific also posted solid increases.

By product category, iPhone sales led growth at $85,269 million, up sharply from $69,138 million. Services revenue expanded to $30,013 million, reinforcing its role as a key growth engine. iPad sales edged higher to $8,595 million, while Mac revenue declined slightly to $8,386 million. Wearables, Home and Accessories remained broadly stable at $11,493 million.

“iPhone had its best-ever quarter driven by unprecedented demand, with all-time records across every geographic segment, and Services also achieved an all-time revenue record, up 14 percent from a year ago. Our installed base now has more than 2.5 billion active devices,” Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, said, in the earnings report.

Omdia report said Apple shipped 84.3 million iPhones in Q4-2025 grabbing 25 percent share in the global smartphone market. Apple recorded its highest-ever annual shipment volume in 2025, with iPhone shipments rising 7 percent to 240.6 million units, enabling the company to retain its position as the world’s largest smartphone vendor for the third straight year. Performance was boosted by an all-time high quarterly iPhone volume in Q4 2025, supported by strong demand for the iPhone 17 series, which drove 26 percent year-on-year growth in Mainland China.

Research report from Omdia indicated that Apple maintained its fourth-place position in the global PC market in 2025 while emerging as the fastest-growing PC vendor for the year. Apple achieved 16.4 percent annual growth, with total PC shipments reaching 28 million units, highlighting strong demand across its Mac portfolio. Apple has 9.9 percent share in 2025 vs 9.3 percent share in 2024.

Reuters news report said Apple forecast stronger-than-expected revenue growth of up to 16 percent for the March quarter, driven by robust iPhone demand and a sharp recovery in China alongside accelerating growth in India. CEO Tim Cook said iPhone demand was exceptionally strong, with revenue rising 23 percent year over year to deliver the biggest quarter in the product’s history. Apple also gained market share in December, reinforcing its momentum across key global markets.
