SES, a prominent provider of content connectivity solutions, has announced the appointment of Adel Al-Saleh as its Chief Executive Officer, effective from February 2024. Al-Saleh, who previously held the position of CEO at T-Systems International, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, is set to lead SES into a new phase of development and innovation.
Interim SES CEO Ruy Pinto, a former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at SES from 2019 to 2023, will continue to guide the company until January 2024. Post this period, Pinto will remain an essential part of the executive team until June 2024, subsequently taking on the role of a strategic advisor to the new CEO. Additionally, Milton Torres, who took over from Pinto as CTO on an interim basis, will continue in that capacity, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of operations.
Al-Saleh’s appointment is anticipated to bring fresh perspectives and strategies, propelling SES forward in the competitive content connectivity solutions market. His experience and success in leading digital transformations are expected to drive innovation and further elevate SES’s position in the industry.
