The platform will include key components such as compute, storage, backup, containers, GPUs, and ransomware protection services, creating the foundation for a future-ready private cloud. The initiative is designed to enable cloud-native innovation, advance AI-driven operations, strengthen infrastructure sovereignty, reduce reliance on proprietary virtualization technologies, and enhance Telefonica Germany’s B2B monetization opportunities through a unified digital infrastructure framework.
Bouygues Telecom Accelerates Autonomous Networking with AI-Powered Broadband Assurance Upgrade
Bouygues Telecom has expanded its partnership with AXON Networks by deploying the Expresse Access Network Assurance solution across both DSL and Passive Optical Network (PON) environments. As part of the upgrade, the French telecom operator is replacing its legacy SNMP-based service assurance platform with AXON’s AI-driven solution, which combines advanced analytics, streaming telemetry, and a modern user interface to deliver real-time visibility across complex multi-vendor networks. The deployment is designed to enhance service quality for approximately six million fixed broadband subscribers, improve field operations management, and accelerate issue resolution. The move supports Bouygues Telecom’s transition toward autonomous networking while adopting a more scalable, future-ready network assurance framework powered by AXON’s extensive expertise across more than 97 million subscriber lines globally.
Race Communications Expands Fiber Broadband Network in Atwater with Speeds up to 10 Gigabits
Race Communications has expanded the availability of its fiber-to-the-home broadband service in Atwater, California, with internet service now live in the city’s initial construction areas. The company is rolling out its high-speed fiber network neighborhood by neighborhood, providing residents and businesses with symmetrical upload and download speeds to support remote work, online learning, streaming, and other bandwidth-intensive applications. Race plans to offer future-proof connectivity with speeds scaling up to 10 gigabits as construction progresses across Atwater. The company said residents will receive notifications about ongoing construction activities through mailers, yard signs, and door hangers. Race crews will be identifiable through branded vehicles and official ID badges. Serving more than 50 communities across California, Race Communications has committed over $200 million in 2026 to expand its 100 percent fiber network, supporting improved connectivity, consumer choice, and local economic growth.
