Nubia Air Set to Redefine Mobile Innovation in Malaysia

Nubia Malaysia will launch the Nubia Air smartphone on 17 October 2025. The device has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nit’s peak brightness. It is powered by a Unisoc T8300 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. The smartphone includes a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support. The rear camera setup has a 50MP triple camera system, and the front camera is 20MP. The device will be available in Titanium Black and Titanium Desert colors. The global launch price starts at US$279 (~RM1,180).

Nokia Accelerates India Expansion with 5G, Data Centre, and Enterprise Push

Nokia is expanding its enterprise, data centre, and hyperscaler business in India. The company plans to launch millimetre-wave fixed wireless access (FWA) products within six months and aims to double its enterprise and hyperscaler business over the next three years. Nokia is finalising partnerships across banking, utilities, and defence sectors, with deals expected to close before year-end. India’s enterprise networking market was valued at $16 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $22 billion by 2030. Private 5G is forecast to grow from $3.86 billion in 2025 to $17.5 billion by 2030. Data centre capacity is rising from 350 MW in 2019 to 1,263 MW in 2025, expected to exceed 3.5 GW by 2030 with $25–30 billion in investment. Nokia focuses on security, scalability, and low-latency connectivity, leveraging its Bangalore R&D and Noida manufacturing for expansion, Business Standard reports.

The Saudi Arabian telecommunications market is growing, supported by rising demand for wireless services and internet access. In 2024, the sector generated $16.6 billion in revenue, with 74.7 million subscriptions and 33.4 million internet users. The market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.5 percent from 2019 to 2024, with consumption volume increasing at a CAGR of 7.8 percent. Key players include Saudi Telecom Company (STC) with a 55 percent market share, Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) with a market capitalization of $50.74 billion, and Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA). The market is expected to grow by $2.32 billion from 2025 to 2029 at a CAGR of 2.4 percent, driven by the expansion of 5G networks, increasing smartphone adoption, and digital transformation initiatives.
