Viettel High Tech Forms Global Alliances to Accelerate 6G Innovation at MWC 2026

At the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Viettel High Tech announced several collaborations aimed at accelerating next-generation telecom development. The company partnered with Intel, AMD, and ID Quantique, and joined a global 6G alliance initiated by Qualcomm. These partnerships focus on advancing key technologies for 5G Advanced and emerging 6G networks, including AI-driven network architecture, high-performance computing, and quantum-safe security solutions.

Viettel Solutions and Aduna Join Forces to Unlock Global Network API Opportunities

At Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Viettel Solutions and Aduna signed a framework agreement to collaborate on developing and implementing network APIs. The partnership aims to simplify access for enterprises and developers to advanced telecom network capabilities through a unified platform. These APIs are being developed under the GSMA Open Gateway initiative and aligned with CAMARA standards, helping operators expose network capabilities in a standardized way. The collaboration will enable use cases such as transaction security, fraud detection, and digital identity services, supporting wider adoption of secure and scalable digital telecom services.

Race to the Future: Viettel Targets 6G Commercial Launch by 2029

Viettel Group has accelerated its 6G development roadmap, aiming for commercial deployment by 2029. The announcement was made during Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, where the company outlined plans to boost research, trials, and international partnerships. Viettel has joined a strategic 6G alliance led by Qualcomm Technologies to help advance next-generation network innovation. As part of the roadmap, the company plans to begin pre-commercial 6G trials by 2028 while contributing to the development of global 6G standards.
