Motorola Solutions Completes Acquisition of Silvus Technologies

Motorola Solutions has completed the acquisition of Silvus Technologies Holdings, Inc., a developer of mobile ad-hoc networks (MANET) based in Los Angeles. Silvus’s MANET technology enables devices to form self-configuring mesh networks that transmit voice, video, and data without fixed infrastructure, supporting continuous communication in mobile and remote operations such as military, public safety, and disaster response. The acquisition strengthens Motorola Solutions’ capabilities in infrastructure-independent communication systems and expands its market into drones, unmanned systems, and other mission-critical applications.
