La Caisse Invests €1.1 Billion for 24 Percent Stake in Indian Tower Platform

Canadian institutional investor La Caisse has invested INR121 billion, or about €1.1 billion, to acquire a 24 percent stake in Altius Telecom Infrastructure Trust, India’s largest independent telecom tower platform. The investment brings La Caisse into the platform alongside Brookfield, which remains the largest investor, as well as shareholders affiliated with GIC and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation. Altius owns and operates more than 258,000 telecom towers and sites across India, positioning the platform to benefit from rising mobile data usage and demand for 5G infrastructure. The transaction strengthens institutional backing for India’s telecom infrastructure and provides capital to support Altius’s growth as operators expand network capacity and digital connectivity nationwide.

InCoax and Nokia Activate Multi-Gigabit Broadband Across 30–40 Minnesota Buildings

InCoax Networks has begun activating a planned deployment covering approximately 30 to 40 buildings on Sjoberg’s network in northern Minnesota, marking the first live operator installations resulting from InCoax’s collaboration with Nokia. The deployment uses Nokia Gigabit Connect with MoCA Access to extend fiber-based gigabit and multi-gigabit broadband over existing in-building coaxial cabling. Operators can manage both PON fiber and MoCA access infrastructure through Nokia’s Altiplano Access Controller. Sjoberg has also integrated Nokia DPU and InCoax MoCA technology with its TruVizion diagnostics platform. The architecture can support both fiber-access and fixed-wireless-access extensions, enabling operators to avoid costly rewiring of apartment buildings while still delivering managed multi-gigabit broadband connectivity.

Lyntris Completes Tri-Band Antenna Design for KSAT’s Next-Generation Satellite Relay Network

Lyntris has completed the Critical Design Review for a tri-band RF antenna being developed for Kongsberg Satellite Services’ two-satellite Hyperion mission, moving the system toward hardware integration, qualification and flight. Hyperion is the pathfinder for KSAT’s planned HYPER hybrid RF and optical relay network, which is designed to extend connectivity in orbit when spacecraft cannot directly reach terrestrial ground stations. The architecture aims to reduce communications latency and improve access to time-sensitive satellite data by routing traffic through relay spacecraft. Lyntris is combining RF engineering, manufacturing, integration and multi-band testing for the program. Completion of the design milestone advances a network architecture that could provide more resilient communications for satellite operators and other space-based connectivity applications.
