Ivy Technology Boosts Telecom Capabilities with Tempest Acquisition

Ivy Technology has acquired Tempest Telecom Solutions to expand its telecom lifecycle services and enhance its offerings. The acquisition strengthens Ivy’s expertise in wireless network infrastructure, equipment supplies, repair, and logistics. Tempest brings extensive experience with multi-vendor telecom equipment, including 5G integration, network testing, and technical support. Combining these capabilities allows Ivy to deliver more advanced, integrated solutions for telecom operators and enterprises. The move positions Ivy to better support the growing demands of the telecom sector, offering streamlined services and technical excellence that align with the evolving needs of modern networks.

$1bn Boost: Turkcell Powers Ahead with Major 5G Financing Deal

Turkcell has secured a $1 billion syndicated Murabaha financing facility, supported by 14 international banks, to advance its 5G and next-generation connectivity projects. Originally launched at $500 million, the offering was oversubscribed more than twofold, signaling strong investor confidence despite challenging global economic conditions. The seven-year facility comes with competitive terms and is set to fund network infrastructure upgrades, digital service expansion, and future communication technologies. This financing positions Turkcell to accelerate its 5G rollout and enhance service offerings, reinforcing its leadership in Turkey’s telecom sector while meeting growing demand for high-speed, reliable connectivity.

One-Click Security: Versa & Zscaler Revolutionize Branch Connectivity

Versa has announced a new integration between its Secure SD-WAN and Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), aimed at simplifying secure branch-to-cloud connectivity for enterprises. The solution replaces complex manual configurations with automated workflows, enabling faster deployment, reduced errors, and improved operational efficiency. It intelligently selects optimal Zscaler points of presence (PoPs), automates tunnel provisioning, and enhances network resiliency. The collaboration supports Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) adoption while reinforcing Zero Trust security, helping organizations modernize network infrastructure with greater ease and consistency.
