Airties Launches Agentic AI Network Automation Across 50 Million Connected Premises

Airties has launched Aura, an agentic AI engine designed to autonomously diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across home and small-business broadband networks. Aura builds on connectivity intelligence gathered from more than 50 million connected homes and businesses and supports fiber, cable/DSL and fixed wireless access networks. The platform can automate firmware rollouts and rollbacks, remote troubleshooting, configuration testing and real-time KPI monitoring while allowing operators to maintain human approval controls. Airties’ operator customer base includes AT&T, Cox, Deutsche Telekom, Telia, Telstra, T-Mobile US and Vodafone. The development illustrates how AI is shifting broadband operations from diagnostic dashboards toward autonomous actions capable of identifying network problems, recommending remedies and executing approved fixes across very large subscriber footprints.

Astrogate Targets 2027 Launch Readiness for India’s First Optical Inter-Satellite Link

India’s Astrogate Labs is developing the country’s first indigenous Optical Inter-Satellite Link terminal, targeting flight readiness in 2027 as satellite networks move toward higher-capacity optical connectivity. The company also demonstrated its AstroLink Micro 10 Gbps laser communications terminal. Astrogate’s existing satellite-to-ground laser communication systems have reached Technology Readiness Level 8, indicating flight qualification, and the company has already supplied an indigenous terminal to ISRO. It has also completed compatibility testing with the University of Western Australia’s TeraNet mobile optical ground station. Optical inter-satellite links allow satellites to transfer large amounts of traffic directly between spacecraft, reducing reliance on ground stations and RF spectrum. The technology is expected to become increasingly important for high-capacity LEO constellations and future space-based communications networks.

NetActuate Launches Media-over-QUIC Relay Network Across 45+ Global Locations NetActuate has launched a managed Media over QUIC (MoQ) Relay service operating across more than 45 global network locations, targeting broadcasters and streaming companies migrating from traditional satellite distribution toward IP-based delivery. Instead of sending separate traffic copies for every subscriber, customers publish a feed once to a relay, which then distributes it locally. In NetActuate testing using four relays, one relay delivered 16 times as much video while consuming the same backbone capacity required to serve a single viewer. Traffic paths are continuously measured and dynamically rerouted when network conditions deteriorate. Customers can select relay locations and receive dedicated tenants. The architecture could reduce backbone bandwidth requirements while improving resiliency as standards-based QUIC transport becomes more important for real-time media distribution over telecom and Internet networks.
