Safely Location Labs to set up office in Delhi, India

Labs, will set up office in New Delhi, India, to support partnerships with
wireless operators in the fastest growing mobile market.

 

India offers big market opportunities to companies like
Safely. The company already established tie up with wireless carriers such as
AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile to launch innovative family safety services.

 

Besides India, it will be opening new offices in Madrid
and Paris. Recently, Safely also entered into a partnership with Telefónica,
its first global partner to allow Safely to expand its services.

 

Safely already has their service available on more than
180 million phones across Tier 1 wireless operators in North America.

 

The company said that its digital parenting tools are
currently available to more than 190 million devices in the U.S and the office
expansion and upcoming launches in Europe and India will open the total
addressable market for Safely services to more than 1.5 billion devices
worldwide.

 

Safely is focused on capturing multi-line accounts
(family plans). The company added that its services have become critical to
wireless operators’ services strategy.

 

The company’s mobile software is pre-installed on tens of
millions of devices to enable Safely services with enhanced location
capabilities like geofencing and consumer device management features like
remote locking.

 

Safely services include Safely Family Locator, Drive
Safe, and Phone Controls and help customers protect the physical and virtual
safety of family members. Together, these services increase ARPU, reduce churn,
and expand Total Addressable Market for wireless operators globally.

 

“Our new offices in Spain, France and India will
help us meet the significant global demand for mobile personal security
services. We are partnering with mobile operators worldwide to launch Safely
services which are already a pillar of the mobile value proposition for our
Tier 1 partners in the United States,” said Tasso Roumeliotis, CEO of
Safely and Location Labs.

 

Recently, Safely powered FamilyWhere Check In service offered by T-Mobile USA. FamilyWhere Check
In service is a free feature of the FamilyWhere service for families.
