Tellabs associates with Spectrum Training for training and lab services in Middle East

Telecom Lead Middle East: Tellabs, a vendor of optical
networking solutions and Spectrum Training come together to
provide Tellabs certified training and lab services
in the Middle East.

 

Both companies have inked an agreement to offer a
combination of premium high-quality products and training to
local service providers the Middle East.

 

“The Middle East region is one of the
fastest-growing telecommunications markets in the world, where there is a real
need for high-quality engineering and telecom expertise. Partnership with
Spectrum Training enables us to improve and expand our certified
training and lab service portfolio locally, helping our customers to
succeed as the market continues to expand,” said Tarcisio
Ribeiro, vice president, Europe, Middle East & Africa at Tellabs.

 

Tellabs has been supporting service providers in the
Middle East for more than 10 years. The company has relocated
its Middle East headquarters to Dubait to enable closer cooperation with
service providers.

 

New specialized training courses on
mobile backhaul for
2G, 3G and 4G networks will help service
providers optimize current networks, reduce operating and
capital expenses, and plan future network investments.

 

Service providers can now enhance their
technical knowledge locally without the need for travel. We
provide well-equipped training and lab facilities in
several Middle East countries and we also offer in-house
training for service providers,” said Ajay Singh Chaunan, CEO, Spectrum
Group.

 

Spectrum Training was incorporated in the year 2004, as a
technical training centre for networking and security vendors.

 

Tellabs and NEC ink deal for resale of Tellabs 7100 packet
optical transport system

 

Recently, Tellabs and NEC Networks & System
Integration Corporation, a Japanese network systems integrator partnered for
the resale of Tellabs 7100 Packet Optical Transport System into the
Japanese marketplace.
