Telehouse, a provider of global data centres and managed
ICT services, has released an additional floor with almost 1000m² of colocation
space at Telehouse West, its flagship data centre facility in London’s East
India Dock adjacent to its existing sites.
Telehouse West was opened in 2010 and has rapidly met the
demands of UK and multinational businesses for high-capacity data centres, as
well as offering connectivity to over 400 ISPs, carriers and Internet
Exchanges.
Demand has been exceptionally high since we opened
Telehouse West just over a year ago and the initial two floors were rapidly
taken up. Still on schedule, our new floor offers up to 10kW per rack in
one of the best locations in London in terms of low latency connectivity, transport
infrastructure and security,” said Michelle Reid, Sales and Marketing director,
Telehouse.
Telehouse, which housed the original peering switch over
20 years ago, now serves over 1000 major blue-chip corporations worldwide from
its 40 plus global data centres. Telehouse has seen the landscape of the
internet industry evolve dramatically, tracking demand closely and expanding
with the phased build-out approach.
For over two decades we have helped our customers grow
nationally and internationally, anticipating their needs and providing highly
reliable managed services, ensuring their reputation for stability and
dependability reflects ours, regardless of their size. In return, the level of
confidence and loyalty we see from our customers is hard-matched by any of our
contemporaries,” Reid added.
