Netxcell Launches Single IVR Advanced Technology Platform

Netxcell announced the launch of its Single IVR (Interactive Voice Response) advanced technology platform.

The Single IVR system enables corporates, telecom subsrcibers and anyone using the system to do away with multiple IVR platforms, allowing them to configure all their IVR requirements on this platform, without needing to separate IVR systems for Customer Service, Song Downloads, CRBT (Caller Ringback Tone), and other VAS.

Some of Netxcell’s unique features include differential billing for different services, 3G with video capability, MIS reports for understanding customer’s requirement, highly scalable, Standard VXML platform, text to speech conversion, speech recognition and service creation environment.

Commenting on the launch Debasis Chatterji, CEO Netxcell said, The Single IVR solution from Netxcell is an outcome of a cumulative focus on the pain points of both the telecom operators and the customers in order to come up with an effective solution. Netxcell Single IVR system can effectively replace the existing multiple IVR system. A single short code will suffice the entire application which will make it very easy for the customers as well, as it also provides a comprehensive and highly in depth billing system that that will enhance customer satisfaction”.

According to global report on the Speech Technology Market, the IVR market will reach $20.9 billion by 2015. The IVR system has emerged as an alternative to using call centers where the costs are huge and recurring. It replaces the need for agents, supervisors and training to a call center team and therefore cuts down significantly on costs and time to market.

For operators, the implementation of Netxcell Single IVR enables an error-free billing as it reduces the infrastructure mismanagement which may occur in case the telecom operator opts for multiple IVR’s for its different services. The Single IVR helps in generating higher revenues owing to lesser revenue share to individual IVRs and also provides consolidated reports with customer profile which could help in understanding the actual interest of the customer. It provides enablers for application interactivity across multiple delivery channels like Video streaming, USSD Push, to name a few.

For end users, Netxcell Single IVR will make the process of activating or deactivating various services or offerings by telecom operators much simpler and easier to follow for the subscribers as they will have to use a single short code for any service, instead of numerous short codes for different services. Using Single IVR, mobile subscribers will also be able to enjoy faster response as they can activate or deactivate any service within seconds.
