KPIT Cummins picks up 50 percent stake in SYSTIME


KPIT
Cummins Infosystems and SYSTIME have announced that KPIT Cummins has picked up 50
percent stake in SYSTIME, an Oracle JD Edwards solution provider.


This
partnership emphasizes KPIT Cummins’ focus on providing Oracle-based solutions
and services, and strengthens the company’s position as a contender for large
Oracle deals in the manufacturing and energy and utilities space.


For
the past two years SYSTIME has maintained a strong presence in the Brazilian
manufacturing industry, and with the new SYSTIME partnership, KPIT Cummins
will be able to establish a footprint in the region.


By
combining local experience with deep domain expertise, KPIT Cummins and
SYSTIME’s offerings will include implementations, applications support and
services for companies using Oracle and Oracle JD Edwards solutions.


Brazil
is amongst the fastest growing emerging economies with a large and deeply
rooted manufacturing industry. Many of our European and North American
automotive and manufacturing customers have established manufacturing centers
in Brazil – as a result, this is an important and high growth geography for
KPIT Cummins. SYSTIME’s presence in Brazil will provide KPIT Cummins the
