HP unveils HP Security Intelligence and Risk Management (SIRM) platform

By Telecom Lead Team:HP unveiled an integrated platform of risk-driven
security solutions helping enterprises deal with modern security threats in the
complex mobile and cloud environments, as well as the traditional networks.

The new HP Security Intelligence and Risk Management (SIRM)
platform  bridges the gap between security and IT operations,
helping organizations to move beyond a bolted-on, single-purpose product
strategy. It gives enterprises clear visibility across traditional, mobile and
cloud environments, and enables them to apply adaptive security defenses based
on specific organizational risks.

HP Security Intelligence and Risk Management (SIRM) is
the first major milestone in security portfolio for HP since it brought together
market-leading products from ArcSight, Fortify and TippingPoint
to form the HP Enterprise Security Products group last
year.

Today’s attacks are so complex and difficult to
detect, a traditional approach to security just can’t provide the level of insight
necessary to secure the extended enterprise,” said Loke Yeow Wong , regional
marketing director, Enterprise Security Products , HP Asia Pacific and Japan.

The HP Security Intelligence and Risk Management
platform offers visibility into diverse security environments as well as
contextual intelligence to proactively manage risk from applications to network
and IT governance,” Wong added.

HP to strengthen LTE focus by enhancing actionable customer
intelligence portfolio

HP recently announced it is strengthening its presence in
LTE market by introducing new solutions that enable mobile operators to offer
personalized mobile experience. Recently, HP announced that Hutchison 3G
Austria deployed HP Home Subscriber Server as the core of a new LTE network
that will bring faster speeds and better mobile internet experience to 1.2
million customers.
