HP introduces HP Accidental Damage Protection for notebooks

As a part of its Total Care initiative, HP introduced the
HP Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) as an additional feature in all its
Pavilion G and Pavilion DV class notebooks.

The ADP feature is available in India only and means that
HP channel partners can now highlight another layer of after sales service
available to Indian customers, which protects them from unexpected costs of
repairs or replacing parts.

The channel partners can now offer a strong and unique
value to HP customers in the form of ADP.  Accidental Damage Protection
offers coverage from physical damage to a notebook caused due to unintentional
liquid spills on the unit, accidental drops or falls, and electrical surge.
Cover also includes liquid crystal displays (LCDs), or parts damaged or broken
in such incidents.

Research shows that in any given environment, especially
in India, the majority of customers will have support needs that go beyond
warranty cover. Keeping this in mind, we went that one step further to design
the ADP feature as a part of our ‘Total Care’ initiative for our customers
across India.
With continued
passion and dedication from our sale, service staff and channel partners, we
can continue to deliver a world class service for all our customers. HP made
it. Let HP support it,”
said Vinay Awasthi, senior director
Product & Marketing (PSG), HP India.
