HID Global will showcase its next-generation iCLASS
SIO-Enabled (SE) access control platform at IFSEC India 2011.
The new platform is based on the company’s new, portable
identity model for advanced security, increased mobility and enhanced
performance. The new, portable identity model revolutionizes the implementation
of high security readers and credentials while enabling the use of digital
credentials on mobile devices.
Key demonstrations of HID Global at
IFSEC India 2011 include:
The Next Generation of Access Control:
iCLASS SE platform is designed to raise the bar for card-to-reader security,
while enabling the use of multiple form factors for smartphones,
microprocessor-based cards, contactless smart cards and other devices, and
delivering superior performance, enhanced usability and increased environmental
sustainability.
Printing and Encoding Solutions: including
HID’s FARGO high definition (HDP) and direct-to-card printer/encoders. The
printers produce reliable, professional quality, personalized color ID cards
and security encoding all in one pass. Asure ID 7 photo card software with
enhanced user experience and added functionality designed to extend ease of
use, convenience and productivity.
Logical Access Solutions: HID
Global’s logical access solutions are designed to deliver convenience for the
user, simplicity for the IT manager and a higher level of logical access
security for the organization. The single credential can be used as a photo ID
badge, as a key” that opens doors and as a second authentication factor for
logging into the IT infrastructure. It allows organizations to leverage
existing physical access cards to deploy an additional layer of security using
smart card technology.
Migration Solutions: The
latest migration readers enable organizations to bridge the gap between legacy
solutions and secure 13.56 MHz MIFARE, DESFire EV1 and iCLASS contactless
technologies and deploy multiple applications on single credential.
Networked Access Solutions: HID
Global’s networked access solutions include EDGE and VertX networked access
controllers. Designed to meet the demands of open architecture, IP-centric
environments, the controllers can be configured for a variety of access control
applications.
