Frost & Sullivan announced the 2011 India IT & Telecom Excellence Awards. The awards are to applaud the noteworthy achievements of the Indian IT and Telecom industries.
Frost & Sullivan acknowledged companies and individuals that have pushed the boundaries of excellence – and have risen above competition and demonstrated outstanding performance in these sectors.
As India continues to grow at rapid pace, it would be imperative to meet the ever-increasing demand from consumers and enterprises. A segmented approach should be the focus along with innovation and relevance. Growth in devices, infrastructure, applications, and services is likely to accelerate with a promising 3G roadmap,” said Anand Rangachary, managing director, Frost & Sullivan, South Asia, Middle East, & North Africa.
As India continues to grow at rapid pace, it would be imperative to meet the ever-increasing demand from consumers and enterprises. A segmented approach should be the focus along with innovation and relevance. Growth in devices, infrastructure, applications, and services is likely to accelerate with a promising 3G roadmap. Companies that are instrumental in changing the face of the communications industry with their exemplary solutions and services will achieve phenomenal success,” Rangachary added.
The success of IT companies in these unpredictable times will be based on their ability to enable their clients to meet the business objectives and develop strong channel partnerships to expand their reach. Increasing need for enterprise mobility, focus on the Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment, and rising adoption of cloud offerings will push vendors to redefine their strategies, enabling them to achieve growth in a highly-competitive environment.
Frost & Sullivan followed a measurement-based methodology to select the recipients in each award category for the 2011 India IT & Telecom Excellence Awards. To make the process more rigorous, Frost & Sullivan introduced an independent panel of judges who deliberated on the research findings of the Frost & Sullivan Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) team for each category and then shortlisted the award recipients.
