Cisco provides TelePresence and IP phone solutions for Syscom products

Telecom Lead Asia: Networking major Cisco has provided
its TelePresence videoconferencing and IP phone solutions to the Syscom Group,
a cloud computing systems integrator in China.

Based on on Cisco’s TelePresence videoconferencing and IP
phone solutions, the Syscom Group has unveiled a range of products that are on
display at the Taiwan Cloud Center.

 

The company said that Cisco’s innovative and diverse
videoconferencing solutions and Syscom’s professionalism and abundant
experience will allow them to create a better mobile environment for Taiwan
enterprises whose competitiveness can be raised.

 

Demands for instant, secure and stable communications
are high among enterprises with operations in different parts of the Greater
China region. These firms are looking for solutions that raise employees’
productivity, lower costs and enhance communications. Now that Syscom has
obtained Cisco’s ATP certificate, it can provide more advanced service to
customers,” said Wang Chih-hui, Cisco Taiwan business development deputy
manager.

 

Syscom has also become a Cisco-certified TelePresence
Video Advanced Authorized Technology Provider (ATP).

 

With this certificate Syscom can offer more advanced and
cutting-edge Cisco solutions such the Cisco TelePresence Sustem 1300 and 500,
Cisco TelePresence Profile and the Cisco TelePresence EX series.

 

We are glad to work with Cisco, and we’ll also expand
our workforce to provide more cloud computing solutions to meet clients’
needs,” said Liu Jui-lung, president of Syscom.

 

According to Gartner, people using videoconferencing are
expected to grow 14-fold by 2015 to 140 million.

 

Syscom products based on Cisco’s architecture have
achieved a leadership status in the market, with sales still expanding, the
firm said.

Recently, Cisco introduced new security, management, and
video solutions to its Borderless Networks portfolio to help IT departments
more efficiently manage the proliferation of mobile devices, ongoing changes in
workforce habits, and the impact of video on the network.
