Anite acquires Xceed Technologies to address data analysis biz

Anite on Sunday announced the acquisition of Xceed Technologies.

The strategy of the wireless network testing technology company is to address the growing need for data analysis and post-processing and to further expand its network testing products.

Xceed Technologies will be integrated into Anite’s Network Testing business unit.

Financial details of the acquisitions were not disclosed.

With presence in the UK (head quarter), and 14 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East, Anite is looking at transforming its network testing business to position in the growing data mining and post-analysis market.

Anite said the acquisition would be a strategic fit.  Xceed Technologies will add to the growth potential of Anite.

With the integrated offering, Anite Network Testing will have a stronger and more scalable product portfolio for wireless network testing.

Petri Toljamo, managing director of Anite’s Network Testing business, said: “The transaction will enable us to globalize Xceed’s product portfolio via Anite’s extensive sales and reseller network.”

Anite’s financial status will enable Xceed Technologies to increase product investment and access their global customer reach.
