Airtel firm Nxtra Data appoints Neil Pollock as CEO

Nxtra Data, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, has appointed Neil Pollock as its CEO.

Nxtra Data will provide a wide array of integrated managed services and data centre services including managed back-up, security, virtual compute and infrastructure as-a-service (IaaS) cloud to small and large enterprises and government sector, Bharti Airtel said in a statement.

Neil will be responsible for developing Nxtra’s capacity and capability across geographies in order to build scale and develop products to meet customer requirements.

His recent assignment at Bharti Airtel was as head – Integrated Managed Services.

Prior to this, Neil was head of Strategy & Productivity at Singtel Optus (Australia) and was responsible for business that included integrated communication services for enterprise, government and wholesale customers.
