Hathway’s new strategy enables cable TV users to view channels for Rs 1 per channel per month

Telecom Lead India: Hathway has launched four new attractive DAS packages for cable TV customers in Mumbai.

Hathway’s new pricing strategy enables cable TV customers to view digital quality television for a full month for less than Rs 1 per channel.

The cost of the Basic Pay Tier Package, where consumers can watch 176 channels comprising all their favorite categories, is Rs 160 + taxes.

The Cable TV major Hathway has priced the Medium Pay Tier Package, which offers 233 TV channels, at Rs 220 + taxes.

Hathway is also offering Premium Pay Package at Rs 275 + taxes for watching 258 channels.

All packages include Hindi General Entertainment Channels (GECs), Hindi Movies, Hindi News, International Channels, Kids Channels, Sports, Infotainment, Lifestyle, Music Regional, All India Radio and some interactive game channels.

To meet statutory requirements, Hathway will also offer a Basic Tier Service Package comprising Free To Air channels which will cost the consumer only Rs 100 + taxes per month.

Consumers subscribing to the basic packages also have the option to subscribe to the India Cricket package with an additional cost of Rs. 365 per year + Taxes. There are also some add-on packs which are being developed for these subscribers which will be announced shortly.

Recently, Hathway introduced a new Digital cable broadband combo, which will be available across Hathway direct points in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Aurangabad, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
