Deutsche Telekom units select MediaKind for IPTV

Slovak Telekom and T-Mobile Czech Republic, members of Deutsche Telekom, selected MediaKind – the new brand identity for Ericsson Media Solutions, to power the delivery of IPTV services.
The advanced TV solution will allow Slovak Telekom and T-Mobile Czech Republic to deliver personalized services to its subscribers. Some of the services include linear and on-demand video, metadata, archive TV, privacy and parental control to consumers in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

“Following the deployment of Mediaroom and delivery of Magio IPTV service in Slovakia, we will increase the scope of our collaboration with MediaKind by expanding our service into the Czech Republic,” Andrej Pinak, director of IP and Service Platforms in Slovak Telekom and T-Mobile Czech Republic said.

Angel Ruiz, CEO, MediaKind, said the latest deployment of Mediaroom will enable Slovak Telekom and T-Mobile Czech Republic to modernize software and introduce new video on demand and time-shifted services to its viewers.
