The Wi-Fi bus shelter allows customers to enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi for up to 20 minutes per day.
Users of any Indian telecom operator can use this Wi-Fi service. Through this offering Vodafone aims to develop technologically-backed, Wi-Fi networks that will help enhance data consumption among smartphone users in the region.
Vodafone has introduced free Wi-Fi offers on its prepaid recharges as well as for its postpaid RED customers.
Vodafone is offering 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi — operator agnostic — at Dilli Haat (INA Market), Khan Market, Fortis Hospital (Gurugram) and all Vodafone stores across Delhi NCR.
“With customer needs evolving from voice to data, Wi-Fi is an effective technology to provide connectivity to a large group of consumers in a defined space. Wi-Fi service at the Bus shelter can be availed by all mobile users irrespective of their network provider,” said Alok Verma, business head, Vodafone Delhi-NCR.
