The number of VSAT subscribers in India increased 0.84 percent from 273,161 in March quarter of 2018 to 275,463 in June 2018.
VSAT operators added 2,302 new VSAT subscribers during the first quarter of fiscal 2018-19, telecom regulator TRAI said.
Bharti Airtel has 75,055 VSAT subscribers.
Tatanet Services added maximum number of VSAT i.e. 2,595 subscribers in June quarter. HCL Comnet lost 1,002 VSAT subscribers with decline rate of 4.85 percent during the quarter, TRAI said.
