California Internet deploys Radwin radios delivering 750 Mbps

California Internet has deployed the Radwin 2000 D+ Point-to-Point radios delivering capacity of 750 Mbps.

California Internet is using the D+ radios in 5.8 GHz for backhaul between tower sites and RADWIN 5000 point-to-multipoint systems.

Skyler Ditchfield, chief executive officer of California Internet, said: “We’ve installed the RADWIN 2000 D+ PtP radios in our network and they operate non-stop in the toughest urban environments in LA, Orange and Ventura counties where there is interference and obstructions to line-of-sight. The D+ radios provide us with high capacity backhaul for extensive ranges of up to 25 miles.”

Dennis Stipati, general manager North America at RADWIN, said: “California Internet is using our high-capacity D+ radios to fulfill their connectivity needs.”
