TEMA (Telecom Equipment Manufacturers Association of India) has approved nomination of Ravi Sharma as chairman of TEMA.
Sandeep Aggarwal has been nominated as vice chairman; Anil Jain has been nominated as director of TEMA; Ashok K Aggarwal has also been nominated as director of TEMA.
NK Goyal, its founder, will continue to be the chairman emeritus of TEMA.
Ravi Sharma is former CEO of Alcatel South Asia, Videocon Telecom and Adani Power. He is also the president of IIT Alumni Council, an autonomous global body of alumni of all the twenty-three IITs.
Sandeep Aggarwal is chairman and managing director of Paramount Group of Companies and also chairman of PHD Telecom Committee. He is also co-chairman of Telecom Export & Services Export Promotion Council.
Anil Jain is the former CGM of BSNL.
