Telrad signs LTE deal with ISP Evertek

Telrad Networks, a provider of LTE telecom solutions, announced its deal with Evertek, a wireless Internet service provider (ISP) in Iowa, to deploy the Telrad LTE solution to upgrade wireless network.
Cuba Internet plansEvertek is making the investment in LTE upgrade to serve existing Internet subscribers with higher throughput packages, as well as improve coverage to reach more customers in rural areas.

Roxanne White, CEO of Evertek, said: “With the recent increased use of OTT entertainment, security systems, VoIP, and home automation, our subscriber capacity needs have skyrocketed.”

Telrad Networks said it has done 300 4G deployments in 100 countries.

Evertek is using Telrad BreezeCOMPACT 3000 base station in the 2.5 GHz BRS spectrum. Evertek’s new sites are using the LTE solution, while existing infrastructure is being upgraded.

Chris Daniels, president of Telrad’s Broadband Wireless Division, said: “ISP businesses will grow across the United States in 2019 with the help of government initiatives such as CBRS, allotting additional spectrum to operators, and Connect America Fund (CAF), which provides funding to help expand rural broadband.”
