Ericsson names Nunzio Mirtillo to head India, South East Asia and Oceania

Ericsson has recently appointed Nunzio Mirtillo as the head of Market Area for South East Asia, Oceania and India.

The recent appointment is part of the company strategy to simplify the organizational structure, enhance business growth and improve efficiency.

Paolo Colella, head of Region India at Ericsson, will continue in his present role.

Nunzio Mirtillo has responsibility for Ericsson’s business across telecom markets such as India, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines and Bangladesh.

Nunzio Mirtillo has extensive experience from his 29-year career with Ericsson, including roles in solutions development, sales, marketing and delivery. Most recently, he has been head of Region Mediterranean, responsible for Ericsson’s business and operations across 25 countries.

Ericsson recently reorganized from 10 regions to 5 market areas and 4 business units to 3 business areas aims to increase efficiency and speed up time-to-market and customer responsiveness.

“Ericsson’s strengthened portfolio focus and simplified organizational structure will enable us to better partner with our customers, to help them succeed in tough market situations and capitalize on new growth opportunities within ICT,” said Nunzio Mirtillo, head of Market Area South East Asia, Oceania and India at Ericsson.
