Telefonica taps Huawei OSS to manage Latin American telecom networks

Telecom service provider Telefonica has tapped Huawei OSS solution to manage its Latin American networks.

Telefonica will utilize Huawei OSS solution as part of its OSS simplification strategy in Performance Management.

Huawei’s Performance Management Solution offers one unified approach to manage all network technologies for mobile, fixed and data services.

Telefonica signs Huawei

Some of the main advantages of Huawei OSS solution include multi-vendor, multi-domain, multi-technology end to end performance management capabilities, issue resolution with performance-centric trouble shooting, and knowledge sharing across all affiliates of the Telefonica Group in Latin-America.

“Telefonica OSS simplification strategy is based on the standardization, simplification and automation of the processes and technologies across our footprint,” said Juan Manuel Caro Bernat, Operations & OSS Director at Telefonica.
