Telecom Lead India: Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Samsung Champ Neo in India.

The Korean devices major company targets youth population with the cost effective phone model.

The touch phone with Dual SIM is priced at Rs 3,670.

The smartphone major has launched the touch phone in line with its vision to address diverse needs of consumers in the Indian mobile market.

 

Samsung said with the launch of Champ Neo, Samsung offers a complete range of devices, with different set of features and capabilities

Samsung Champ Neo complements Samsung’s existing touch screen mobile portfolio comprising of Samsung Star 3 Duos and Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos.

“With the launch of the Champ Neo, we are seeking to satisfy the needs of young customers who are looking for a quality touch device, sharing more and staying connected with their friends while on the go,” said Asim Warsi, VP-Samsung Mobile.

Samsung Champ Neo is the first phone to be launched in India after the exit of Samsung’s country head Ranjit Yadav.

Its ChatOn capability connects users in a single, easy chatting service as it supports multiple platforms including Android, iPhone OS, bada OS, Blackberry OS etc. It supports group chats and multimedia transfers over chat. Additionally, the Champ Neo has Push Mail support through the preloaded Activesync application which also supports advanced connectivity like syncing of online contacts and calendar.
