Key developments include the expansion of its IZO DC Dynamic Connectivity platform, investments in 800G infrastructure to support rising AI-driven cloud traffic, and wider global network reach through partnerships. The company has also enhanced its cybersecurity portfolio with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) capabilities and is exploring quantum-safe encryption technologies.

Wireless Boom Pays Off: Cisco Says AI-Driven Investments Are Supercharging Enterprise ROI

A new report by Cisco Systems reveals that strategic wireless investments are delivering strong returns for enterprises in the AI era. According to a global survey, nearly 80 percent of organizations have increased spending on wireless infrastructure to support growing demands from AI, IoT, and data-intensive applications. The findings show that 78 percent of businesses experienced improved operational efficiency, while 75 percent reported higher employee productivity. Additionally, 68 percent of respondents saw revenue growth linked to these investments. Cisco describes this trend as a “multiplier effect,” where enhanced wireless networks simultaneously drive efficiency, productivity, and business expansion across modern enterprises.

Cloud Communications Power Move: Court Square Takes Majority Stake in CallTower

Court Square Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in CallTower from BV Investment Partners, marking a major ownership transition for the cloud communications provider. The move will support CallTower’s expansion in unified communications, collaboration, and AI-driven contact centre solutions. Operating in over 80 countries, CallTower has strengthened its global presence through strategic partnerships and service enhancements. Since BV’s 2023 investment, the company has expanded its portfolio, including the acquisition of Inoria. BV Investment Partners and CallTower’s management will retain a minority stake, ensuring continued involvement as the company enters its next phase of growth.
