Tektronix appoints new VP of Asia Pacific Sales; set to demo its solutions at CommunicAsia

Telecom Lead Asia: Tektronix Communications, a provider
of network test and service assurance solutions has named Mike Ropicky as new
vice president of Asia Pacific Sales.

 

“Mike Ropicky is very skilled in creating innovative
customer solutions in B2B selling environments and in addressing complex
technology customer needs to drive growth for our business and our customers
all around the globe,” said Lyn Cantor, president of Tektronix
Communications.

 

The company will also be demonstrating its solutions at
CommunicAsia. Additionally, the company will discuss the opportunities and
challenges during the LTE evolution at the event.

 

The company said that it is empowering operators in Asia
to optimize and monetize the mobile data explosion. In order to prove that the
company will demonstrate how it is providing operators the cost-effective
bandwidth to support the exponential increase in usage of smartphones and
tablets across the region.

 

At the event, the company will demo its Deep Packet
Classification (DPC) solution that enables operators to understand what
services are consuming the valuable network bandwidth on a per-subscriber basis
enabling them to protect and maximize their revenue-generating potential.

 

In addition, the company will showcase its GeoProbe G10 solution
along with Iris Analyzer toolset and IrisView software framework.

 

Tektronix claims #1 position in LTE market with cross domain
solutions

 

A few months back, Tektronix Communications secured the
LTE market leadership position, partnering with more than 15 key tier one and
tier two operators globally.

 

The company claimed that it is positioned within the
market to support the full LTE technology lifecycle from early testing in the
labs to full network wide deployment, allowing operators to better manage,
optimize and monetize their networks.
